Contour & Feature Survey

With most developments, a contour and feature survey is the first step. A contour and feature survey is required for design purposes and is usually passed on to an architect, designer or engineer for them to use as base information for their drawings.

What does a contour & feature survey include?

The contour and feature survey includes buildings, trees, services, walls roads, fences and major features on the property. Levels are provided and land contours are calculated and drawn. Adjoining property information is depicted as it often helps in the design of buildings to be constructed on the property for privacy and building outlook.

Levels are usually provided in approximate Australian Height Datum (AHD). The survey can be provided in Perth Costal Grid (PCG) if requested.
